Marlon | Sofa System | Prototype | Salone Satellite | 2006

Marlon was designed for communication. Its ‘hugging’, concave form encourages relaxed, eye-to-eye conversation. Marlon is designed for use in both domestic living rooms and public waiting areas. Detachable cushions stretch from front to back and can be easily rearranged or moved together. Without the cushions, there is plenty of space to lie comfortably on the sofa. The system comprises three seat components, one corner element and four armrests, which can be combined flexibly. Arrangements of up to fourteen seats are possible, which is particularly useful in waiting areas.
