The shape of the lamp refers with a wink to the intended place of use under a parasol on the patio or balcony table. Accordingly, "ombrellino" is the Italian word for a small parasol. Particular importance was attached to a good height in the design in order to illuminate the table without glare without blocking the view.
The light, which is available in 8 colours, is infinitely dimmable and is conveniently placed on a charging station for charging. A splash-proof housing makes it suitable for outdoor use. The sketch shown was created during a presentation for the Sompex company in April 2021 and visualizes the spontaneous idea during the conversation.
